This is a critical message in the days in which we are living. So many in the Church are getting swept away into worldliness and darkness. The Apostle Paul gave us many warnings - "be sober", "be alert", "watch", "take heed". If the days were dark and the slopes were slippery in the 1st century, where does that leave us today.
A strong message of holiness is needed in this day and age. This podcast is a "wake up call" for many of us (I include myself in that admonition).
End Time Convictions
April 21, 2011 12:49 AM PDT
March 20, 2011 10:04 AM PDT
I know it's a strong title. I was inspired this week by the God Journey podcast who are responding to the vicious attacks on Rob Bell by mostly Calvinists who I contend really dislike Bell for being Arminian above all else.
I have many friends who to some degree or another would identify themselves aspects and elements of Calvin's Reformed theology (ultimately originating with St. Augustine). I know that there are different "degrees" of Calvinism too.
Theology has consequences. I believe that the basic tenets of Calvinistic thinking horribly misrepresents the Biblical picture of God and makes God directly responsible for the presence of evil and suffering in this world. I firmly believe that Calvinism is a false doctrine. Romans 12:9 commands us to "Hate evil and cling to what is good". I am convinced that misrepresenting God is EVIL.
At a time when many Christians are actually thinking that God was somehow behind the Japanese earthquake, we need to reconsider who the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ really is.
It is ALL about TEAM!
March 07, 2011 09:55 PM PST
GET OUT of the Old Testament! Stop following the "one man show"!
This podcast is basically the underlying message of every podcast we do - God wants to anoint His ENTIRE BODY to do the works of the ministry - not a few anointed individuals. I share in this podcast what happened this past week when a TEAM of us saw the Kingdom Come.
Experiencing the Fear of the Lord
December 06, 2010 11:25 AM PST
I contend that what the Scriptures call the Fear of the Lord is not a concept to understand, nor is it merely a doctrine to believe, rather it is an experience to be had. In this podcast, I relate an experience that I had this past week wherein I had an encounter with the Fear of the Lord
functioning in the power of God
October 24, 2010 01:50 PM PDT
I listened to a powerful message this week by Mike Bickle about what the Holy Spirit was saying to/about the Church in this hour. I have included about 9 minutes of that message in this podcast. The rest of the podcast is basically my "commentary" on what he said.
I considered the title, "It's what we do", which is a prophetic line by Mike Bickle in his message - this is a challenging message to charismatic and non-charismatics alike.
This may be one of the most balanced messages you'll ever hear on the topic - not because of what I have said, but what Bickle shares.
Thoughts on Acts #4
October 22, 2010 01:01 AM PDT
This one's all about "what is an apostle?" If we've got real apostles today, what characterizes/constitutes their ministries? I am convinced that most of what today is being called Apostolic, simply doesn't meet the Biblical requirements.
Thoughts on Acts #3
October 14, 2010 07:01 AM PDT
the Apostle Paul in Ephesus - a far different type of ministry than his ministry in Athens. However, I take major issue with the author of the commentary I read by C. Peter Wagner. He takes Paul's ministry in Ephesus as a justification for what is known as doing "Strategic Level Spiritual Warfare" (SLSW). I believe that his ministry there models just the opposite. AND, when we see historically what happened in Ephesus under the ministry of the Apostle John, we have an even stronger reason to question some of the what the SLSW camps advocates.
Thoughts on Acts #2
October 10, 2010 12:24 PM PDT
A couple of months ago I did a podcast on Acts (right when I started an in depth study with a new commentary). Now I've finished and have decided to focus on a couple of things that "stood out".
This podcast is about Paul's ministry to Athens on Mars Hill. Why in the world would we uphold his ministry in Athens as some kind of a model? People do. I remember we used to somehow analyze his sermon there as some kind of "missiological" model to follow. Again, why? He saw no breakthroughs in Athens. After leaving, he "returns" to the type of ministry (and fruit) that he saw before going to Athens. This podcast explores this topic a bit.
EVERYBODY gets to play
September 22, 2010 11:54 PM PDT
an expression popularized by the late John Wimber. Truly a vision of what NT Christianity should look like. Why is it that so few model it truly? For many parts of the Body of Christ, it is still "the man with a gift" (or the woman) and the rest of us clap and are expected to "sow into" such ministries. This is simply NOT the model that Jesus left for His followers. I trust that this podcast will stir you up to contend for everybody getting anointed and getting to play.
Miracles OUT OF love
September 06, 2010 09:29 AM PDT
part of a message I gave recently after seeing many touched during an inner city outreach. many were healed, broken lives touched deeply. all of our desire to see God's miraculous Kingdom released MUST however, flow OUT OF love. the primacy of love, the centrality of love - it is really all about love and that is the way God intended to safeguard the release of His Power. encased in His Love, power accomplishes what the Lord intends. without that love, His Power often seems to be destructive. this is the heart of what I was getting at in this message.
A Kingdom-Focused Life & Ministry
August 20, 2010 10:58 AM PDT
a message I gave recently about the Kingdom of God and the miraculous. The Kingdom of God was the primary message of Jesus. Many (if not most) Christians today don't have the Kingdom as their primary message. Why is that? Could it be that the Kingdom message was more than a verbal message, but a release of Heaven's economy on the earth? Listen and see.
Miracles and Loss
July 28, 2010 08:23 PM PDT
in the wake of yet another dear friend losing the battle to cancer, we have seen a number of remarkable miraculous healings this week. i believe that lost battles and the subsequent disillusionment is the main reason believers lose heart and stop contending for miracles of healing. i guess the better question is "where else can we go"? do we really want to shrink back and retreat into chronic unbelief and a faith that has little resemblance to NT Christianity? or do we want to press on believing that today's losses will become tomorrow's breakthroughs?
Thoughts on the Book of Acts
July 02, 2010 05:52 AM PDT
As I'm reading a new commentary on the Book of Acts, I have had some things I wanted to share. What continues to amaze me is how Christians ever came to the conclusion that signs and wonders are somehow unimportant!
Pentecost WASN'T about speaking in tongues! (Part 2)
May 29, 2010 08:15 AM PDT
Here's Part 2 - in this episode I share a number of examples of God releasing "Pentecostal Empowerment" in the week or so. It's not enough to talk about "being empowered for service" - we actually need to demonstrate this power if in fact we possess it. It is actually two dimensions of power - the power to heal the sick (and/or effect miracles) AND the ability (power) to hear the voice of God. This podcast also focuses on that 2nd dimension because Pentecost was also all about hearing the voice of God (dreams, visions, etc.).
and yet again, Pentecost's baptism WASN'T about speaking in tongues!
Pentecost WASN'T about speaking in tongues!
May 22, 2010 06:50 AM PDT
This Sunday is Pentecost. There are many perspectives on what happened that day and what its relevance is for us today. For many Charismatics/Pentecostals they are content with the fact that they speak in tongues. Pentecost wasn't about tongues. Many Evangelicals believe they were "baptized with the Holy Spirit" when they became Christians. Pentecost wasn't about salvation - they were already "saved". What was Pentecost? Do we currently possess "the power" that Pentecost was/is all about? Listen and consider.
God is LOVE (the END of the matter)
April 23, 2010 07:44 AM PDT
This week I was 'captured' by a sermon by Greg Boyd on God's Love - the ESSENTIAL revelation that Jesus brought to earth was this very thing, God IS LOVE. All other characteristics, all other attributes are subordinated to this truth - it is God's essential essence! This podcast is my humble attempt to communicate what I can on the topic. This could be the most important podcast I have ever done.
Dealing with Problem Verses about Healing
March 12, 2010 09:13 PM PST
I find it interesting that non-Charismatic Christians know each and every verse, no matter how obscure, in the Scriptures that seem to teach that somehow God isn't as interested in healing as we would contend. I was like that for years. I had my "ammunition" verses to fight off my more Charismatic friends' arguments. Funny, how I almost totally neglected the dozens of passages that completely contradicted my understanding of God and His willingness to heal today.
One of the key verse in the arsenal is 2 Timothy 4:19 - This verse has been cited by people for years as some kind of evidence that healing isn't always God's will.
In this podcast, I am going consider this oft-quoted verse. What's incredible to me is how much can be 'read into' a verse or passage that simply isn't there. I discovered that as I did this podcast and meditated on this verse.
when the DEAF hear
February 20, 2010 10:39 PM PST
a few nights ago the Lord opened the deaf ear of a Gulf Arab muslim man. as the testimony of his healing is spreading, many are asking for prayer and ministry. however, this should NOT be an unusual thing for Christians. Didn't Jesus say "the deaf hear" (Matt. 11:5)? This podcast is about what should be NORMAL!
Be Normal!
Confessions of a 'Theological Racist'
December 18, 2009 03:42 AM PST
Theological Racism - when we misrepresent, are unable to receive from, and slander other "tribes" in the Body of Christ, we are being 'theologically racist'. With the passing this week of Oral Roberts, I was reflecting on my own struggles as a theological racist. I was 'racist' towards the part of the Church he came from. I spent many years speaking ill of people in that stream and I yet I knew really nothing about them. That all changed a few years back, and I have been blessed by the lives and ministries of men like Oral Roberts. In fact, one Saturday morning, 5 years ago, I had breakfast with Oral and Evelyn Roberts. That morning changed my life forever.
This is a challenging word - it is challenging because theological racism is still rampant in the Body of Christ. We cannot afford it and in many places revival is being held back because different streams refuse to flow together for the sake of the Kingdom. It isn't about all of us "agreeing" on each and every point of doctrine. Unity HAS NEVER depended upon that.
This is also a personal word of confession - because for years (and I am sure to this day), I have been 'theologically racist' towards traditions and Churches that are from 'tribes' in the Body of Christ that are outside of my own. Lord, have mercy!
PRESENCE-driven community & other stuff
December 04, 2009 12:21 AM PST
I was trying to remained focused in this podcast - Presence-Driven community. What unifies God's people is not purpose, not doctrine, but HIS PRESENCE. However, I went down a bunch of other rabbit trails in this podcast too - miracles, the Book of Job, Church Government, and responding to people with bad theology. Oh well - I posted it. Have fun!
loss LEADS to miracles
November 20, 2009 09:20 AM PST
we decided this week to not let the loss of a team mate slow us down - what followed could be one of the greatest weeks of my life in terms of miracles - listen and find out what Jesus did!
The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat
November 15, 2009 06:11 AM PST
When miracles are happening, we are thrilled! This week has been full of breakthroughs - a number of healings, people having encounters with God. However, then we lost a member of our community to cancer at the end of this amazing week! This was someone we had been contending for in prayer for months. This was the 3rd major loss to cancer we encountered this year.
How do we respond? Do we blame God? Do we 'adjust' our theology to somehow make an untimely death, from a wretched condition somehow 'God's Will'? The fact is that how we respond in the face of disappointment and loss will largely determine the level of breakthrough we'll see in the future.
This could be one of the most important podcasts we've done. Listen and you'll know why!
1 COR 12:8 - The Word of Knowledge
October 24, 2009 04:26 AM PDT
In this message, I want to lay a foundation about this critically important gift of the Holy Spirit. How do we get them? Some theological considerations and some testimonies from this week as God gave Words of Knowledge and touched the lives of muslims.
how did Jesus train people?
October 08, 2009 07:00 AM PDT
If you look at the way most of the Church trains people, you'd think that Jesus spent most of His time leading Bible Studies. Surely He taught, but He did so much more. Rather than simply teach, He MODELED a life of miracles in front of their eyes. Then in INVITED THEM TO JOIN HIM - in other words, He did miracles WITH THEM. Finally, He released them to go and do it by themselves.
When are we going to get back to a Biblical model of training? That's what this podcast is all about.
future vision
September 30, 2009 09:49 AM PDT
what kind of future are we expecting? what we think is coming radically affects how we live and what we are preparing for. recently Mike Bickle retold a series of messages about the Prophetic History of their movement. much if not most of the Body of Christ is completely unprepared for what is coming - a major move of God, the fulfillment of Christ's promise of the 'greater works', a great falling away and a tribulation that the Church will not be raptured for.
as a group of us have been listening and considering what Mike has been sharing, I had to do a podcast in response. fasten your seat belt...
Bad Theology 101
September 22, 2009 10:21 AM PDT
This week a Christian friend declared, "God has blessed me with deafness". However, Jesus declared that one of the indicators of the presence of the Kingdom of God was "the deaf hear". He never 'blessed' anyone with deafness - He only destroyed it!
Frankly there is just a lot of bad theology out there - theology that attributes to God what the Bible attributes to the kingdom of darkness. This is a gross representation of God's character and will.
This podcast is an attempt to combat a major lie that continues to be perpetrated in the name of truth - namely that God is behind sickness and disease in the life of His children.
breaking down the word of knowledge (1 Cor 12:8)
September 11, 2009 07:51 AM PDT
this podcast is an attempt to demystify and break down what the word of knowledge is, who can move in it, how to move in it and I'll end with an impartation/activation.
I believe this podcast will release faith and help to activate you to move in words of knowledge TODAY.
Jesus healed them ALL
August 30, 2009 09:55 PM PDT
why do so many Christians focus on the exceptional passages and miss the main and plain? In this podcast, I do a bit of an overview of Luke's Gospel, looking at 2 passages in particular that show us what Jesus' ministry REALLY looked like. is our theology more shaped by our experience, or by the Word of God? Listen and consider.
Releasing the Power of God
July 20, 2009 11:39 AM PDT
o.k., so we've contended for it, but what about releasing it? this podcast documents a number of things that we saw this past week or so as God's Power came to heal people and as His Voice came prophetically to speak to people.
of course, as usual - you are ALL ENCOURAGED to try these things at home, at work, at the mall, etc. etc.
Contending for God's Power
July 17, 2009 10:10 PM PDT
Mike Bickle rightly notes that many Christians take a passive approach when it comes to moving in God's power - his commentary on such an approach however is devastating, it is "how you are guaranteed to end up with no power in your midst".
This podcast is about the issue of pursuing God's power - to fight for it, to relentlessly go after it UNTIL you've got it and are moving it in on a regular basis.
Accuracy in the Word of Knowledge
July 03, 2009 01:46 PM PDT
The other night I had one of the most accurate (and therefore spooky) words of knowledge that I've ever received. As much as I have pursued, and have desired the word of knowledge and as much as I have flowed in it, there might have been a different reason why it came the other night in particular as accurately as it did. Listen and find out what my theory is....
The KEY to Power Restoration
June 15, 2009 01:26 PM PDT
God spoke a very clear word to a group of revivalists - "the Church has lost power, but it will be restored AS WE GO OUT". this is something that more and more Christians seem to be discovering - so much so that I think it can rightly be called "a movement". More and more believers are learning that when they can get outside the 4 walls of the Church, God is releasing tremendous healing and encounters for non-believers.
JOIN THE MOVEMENT - it's free because somebody already paid your dues!!!
is healing a secondary issue?
June 01, 2009 04:25 AM PDT
many Christians think that healing the sick is really a secondary issue when it comes to the Gospel. Was healing a secondary issue in the life and ministry of Jesus? Sure, He proclaimed a MESSAGE but He also demonstrated the truth of that message by HEALING the sick and CASTING OUT DEMONS.
this podcast explores this question.
the primacy of the Kingdom message
April 21, 2009 08:09 AM PDT
Jesus' primary message - the focus of His preaching was the KIngdom of God. Many Christians throughout the centuries shifted their focus from the Kingdom to the Church. Some mistakenly teach that the Church and the Kingdom of essentially synonymous terms. The Kingdom is more comprehensive than the Church. Whereas the living Church is a part of the Kingdom, the Kingdom of God is far more widespread.
This is a topic that I explore a bit in this podcast.
By HIS Stripes
April 10, 2009 02:33 PM PDT
Today is Good Friday and as millions of Christians are remember Christ's suffering for the forgiveness of our sins, how many are thinking of His suffering for our bodies to be healed? Matthew quotes Isaiah in his Gospel to explain the basis for what Jesus did on a day when Jesus healed ALL and cast out demons with a single word.
Healing is IN the atonement. On this Good Friday, we must also remember that By His Stripes we are healed - which includes physical healing as well as spiritual healing.
Baptized in the Spirit
March 28, 2009 04:13 AM PDT
So much controversy surrounding the topic of being "baptized in the Holy Spirit" - I still like what Billy Graham said, "I don't care how you get the Holy Spirit, just get HIM". Acts 19:1-7 was highlighted to me this week (also my wife independently). Different Christians have argued over what is going on in this passage - but one thing is clear, PROPHECY was one of the fruits of the encounter these people had. That's what this podcast is all about.
Character vs. Power
March 15, 2009 06:36 AM PDT
Some Christians have focused upon character and de-emphasized the need to pursue power. Others have focused more on the power side of the equation. To emphasize either one, and neglect the other is to be Biblically unbalanced.
We need to pursue Character AND Power (or as some would say - the FRUITS and the GIFTS of the Holy Spirit.
This podcast is all about this very issue. Let's blow up this false dichotomy for good. We need BOTH.
the FEAR of false prophets, crippling believers everywhere!
February 17, 2009 03:48 AM PST
there is still much confusion in the Body of Christ about what constitutes a "false prophet". The word is thrown around all over the place (especially the internet) and many, if not most of the people using the term, are NOT USING it in the New Testament concept. They are stuck in an OT concept of prophecy and false prophecy, and need to move into the NT.
In reality, those who sound the alarm the most, "Beware of False Prophets", are far more likely to be deceived by a false prophet than others Christians, because they deny the very gifts that the Lord has given His Church to discern and determine who they are.
Listen and you'll see what I mean.
Do we lack any spiritual gift?
December 20, 2008 06:44 AM PST
Paul writes to the Church at Corinth that they didn't lack any spiritual gift (1 Cor. 1:7) - an amazing affirmation when you consider all the negative things commentators have said about the Corinthian Church through the ages.
What about us? The community we are a part of? Could Paul address a letter to us with the same words of affirmation? Listen and see.
the atheist who sold his soul on eBay
November 09, 2008 04:24 AM PST
Hemant Mehta is an atheist who visited churches for about a year. He visited a variety of churches all over the United States and at the end of his journey he's still an atheist. Do you want to know what he said would have changed (what what change) his mind? Listen and find out.
releasing the word of knowledge
October 17, 2008 01:08 PM PDT
God has given us gifts. As Jack Deere describes, "they are tools that God has given us to express His love". This podcast is about the way this week that God released through us words of knowledge.
Don't neglect the gift(s), Paul wrote to Timothy that he was given through the laying on of hands. If we're honest, we have to admit that we sometimes neglect the gifts that God has given us like Timothy. I want this podcast to be an encouragement for us all not to neglect these gifts but to make the most of every opportunity that the Lord gives us.
charismatic credibility
October 04, 2008 02:30 AM PDT
I had several experiences in the past 2 weeks where I was in charismatic church services that differed little from non-charismatic ones. I've contended that charismatic christians have had a serious credibility problem with other more conservative christians - which is mostly our own fault. we claim to believe in 'miracles, signs and wonders' but where are they? we simply haven't 'demonstrated' this supernatural kingdom life we claim is normative to our more skeptical brothers and sisters.
the way towards establishing that credibility is what I want to explore a bit in this podcast.
a Kingdom response to the new age movement
August 11, 2008 05:03 PM PDT
Having just spent some time in one of the new age capitals in the western world, I wanted to see what "demonstrating God's Kingdom" would look like in such a dark place. How should Christians approach people entangled in this movement?
God's will and healing
July 29, 2008 03:54 PM PDT
What is God's will when it comes to healing? This is not a new question that we've considered, but in recent weeks in the midst of numerous physical healings, the question comes up all the time (especially when we don't see breakthrough in healing).
May this podcast help us to become the Kingdom healers God intends!
I got the picture, and His Name is JESUS
June 10, 2008 04:09 AM PDT
I was inspired reading "The Shack" by William Young. Christians have to be BIBLICAL. Jesus said, "If you've seen ME, you've seen the Father". Whatever picture the O.T. paints in your mind, we now have a MORE COMPLETE Revelation of who God is in Jesus Christ. Is God mostly angry, looking to pour out His wrath wherever and whenever He sees sin? That's what some Christians seem to think - and definitely that is what the world hears many Christians saying. Let's get the picture - What is God like? His Name is Jesus! What a relief huh?
"...so what's the big deal about healing anyway?"
June 02, 2008 06:54 AM PDT
I had a discussion the other day with a conservative evangelical friend who wanted to know why we were so obsessed with the whole healing thing - that's what this episode is all about.
Question: Why I am always so focused upon healing?
Short answer: Jesus is!!!!
empowered for service
May 19, 2008 03:28 AM PDT
Revivals? Visitations? Outpourings? What did the Early Church have in mind when people had encounters with God? Just to get blessed or empowered for something else, something bigger?
Listen and consider...
power TEACHING
April 30, 2008 03:03 AM PDT
I know we focus almost exclusively on signs, wonders and miracles. what about the "Gift of Teaching"? This podcast is for all you out there who don't really go for the healing and prophetic stuff - fasten your seat belts as we EXPLORE THE SPACE yet again - could be the most controversial podcast i've done yet - I sure hope so:)
"Explore the Space"!
April 27, 2008 04:40 AM PDT
In the now famous SNL skit, "More Cowbell", Will Ferrell's character is strongly encouraged to "explore the space". That is what we are commanded to do as we release the Kingdom. I talk about some of the ways God is allowing us to "explore the space" - we are discovering things we never knew were possible. Start doing it - start 'exploring the space'!!!!!
establishing "pain-free" zones
February 28, 2008 12:50 AM PST
We are instructed to pray for God's Kingdom to come and His will to be done - on earth AS IT IS in heaven. Establishing "pain-free" zones in people's bodies is part of this mandate. Revelation 21:4 tells us that in heaven there is NO PAIN, and therefore we need to bring that 'pain-free' realm and release it into the lives of the people we minister to - physical pain, emotional pain. All types of pain are absent in heaven and therefore we can and should seek to eliminate them here.
charismatics "trapped" in the Old Testament
February 02, 2008 12:48 AM PST
too many charismatics (if not most of them) are still living/modeling/expecting no more than an OT model of charismatic ministry - wherein a select 'few' had the anointing and everyone else stood around and watched. The model of a select group of 'superstars' (prophets, apostles, etc) seem to 'perform' while the vast majority of charismatics clap their hands (and write their checks).
EVERY believer in the NT is expected to move in God's supernatural power - to heal the sick, to prophesy and do the things the "Apostles and Prophets" did/do. Let's get out of the OT!
the fear of man
January 27, 2008 09:24 PM PST
Arguably the fear of man is one of the greatest, if not the greatest hindrance/obstacle we face as we seek to live a life of miracles. Most of us don't often recognize it as it can so easily disguise itself behind subtle (or even overt) excuses.
If we can overcome our fear of man, we will be able to do the things God asks us consistently and destroy the works of the devil.
what's love got to do with it
January 15, 2008 07:49 AM PST
the totality of the Christian life is summed up in the single commandment to love others (Rom. 13:9).
Judging others is the opposite of love, according to author Greg Boyd in his challenging book, "Repenting of Religion - Turning from Judgment to the Love of God".
why do I spend so much time/energy judging others when I am so clearly commanded "not to judge"? Why do I think that the concern for 'truth' (which is of vital importance) can/should ever compete with the commandment to love others AS GOD LOVES ME??
Demonstrate 1st - Talk 2nd
January 09, 2008 12:54 AM PST
I believe we live in a world where it is critical for the Church to demonstrate the Kingdom in some supernatural way 1st AND THEN, 2nd we begin to talk (preach/teach or whatever) to the unbelieving world. Talk is cheap and is to be found in every religion and every philosophy. The Apostles NEVER intended that we would reduce our message to a gospel of words. Somehow many have lost sight of that!
how to get started in a life of miracles
December 16, 2007 04:02 PM PST
in response to a question I was asked recently, I've put together this podcast to really address the whole question of how in the world we get started in seeing miracles happen in and through our lives. Oftentimes in the beginning, we see some incredibly gifted person flowing in a gift of the Holy Spirit and wonder "how will I ever get there"? This podcast explores that question.
answering Christians who follow Job
October 16, 2007 04:29 AM PDT
We no longer live in the days of Job. Satan was NOT a defeated foe at that time. He simply cannot do now what he could do then. Too many Christians read the Book of Job not taking into account that the tables were turned on the Kingdom of darkness when Jesus came onto the scene. His life, death and resurrection changed everything. Assuming that the way things were in Job's day are the way things are today is simply bad theology!
God had NOTHING to do with it!

when horrific things happen, who do we blame? who's in control? how can we reconcile the problem of evil with an all powerful, all loving God? you might be suprised.
the 'Fear of Deception' (crippling believers everywhere)
September 28, 2007 01:40 AM PDT
The fear of deception is one of the greatest hindrances for Christians pursuing God's power and His Kingdom. Let our God be bigger than our devil. In the end, the ones who will be susceptible to deception will be those who have not matured in the things of the Spirit.
how did the Christianity spread after 100AD?

A look at how the Gospel spread in the beginning - What were the factors that allowed a persecuted faith to take over the Roman Empire?
Depending upon the theological background, the answer to this question (what were the factors that enabled a persecuted, minority faith to take over the Roman Empire?) is extremely varied. A Yale professor, Dr. Ramsey McMullen (a secular scholar), SHOCKED the Christian world with his answer. You may be shocked as well!!

Podcast SummaryThis is a Podcast for people who are hungry for more of God - hungry to encounter Him, and hungry to see the Gospel preached with clear demonstrations of Kingdom Power. Talk is cheap (and frankly, people are sick and tired of being 'preached at')! God is raising up a generation, a Joel 2 Generation, who will not settle for anything less than everything the Lord will release at this time in history. Join us in this journey - a journey into God's Presence, a journey into the miraculous! About DJThis isn't actually my picture - it's a picture of one of my heros - Lonnie Frisbee (who died in 1993). He was a Joel 2 Generation forerunner, who sparked the revival known as "The Jesus Movement" (of the late 60's/early 70's). I am inspired by the way a 17 year-old was used so powerfully by the Lord, in spite of his own tremendous personal struggles. The fact that God could use a broken vessel like Lonnie, gives me hope. He can/will use anybody who surrenders to Him.
