JOEL 2 GENERATION PODCAST
CONTENDING FOR THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM AT THE END OF THE AGE
Hungry for MORE - Healing
February 25, 2017 11:26 AM PSTI was asked this week, "How can we continue to progress in seeing greater breakthrough in healing"? This podcast is a response to that question. How to go after stuff we've never seen healed before? How do we grow and see our faith increase in healing? Pursue 2.0 - Part 2
February 13, 2017 10:48 PM PSTContinuing the message from last week on the importance of the pursuit of God and His Kingdom. We must KNOW who we are in Christ, we must also RESIST the world, the flesh and the devil and finally we must PURSUE as growth is a process. Pursue 2.0 - Process & the Normal Means of Grace
February 07, 2017 11:58 AM PSTRevisiting the role we play, and the normal means of grace God has ordained in our PURSUIT of Him and the process called sanctification. God has done and will do His part, but He won't do our part as we cooperate with grace daily to be transformed into the image of His Son. The Gospel of God - Mark 1
January 13, 2017 10:47 PM PSTThis is a message about the nature of the Kingdom - from Jesus' empowering encounter at His Baptism into the start of His ministry. The Gospel of God is a message AND the demonstration of Kingdom authority over the demonic realm and in healing the sick. His assignment is now OUR ASSIGNMENT. Why Christmas is such a Big Deal - new 2016 version
December 10, 2016 09:43 AM PSTChristmas wasn't the earliest Christian holiday but eventually it became one of the most important. Why? What is it that made Christmas become such a central celebration to all Christians? I think this podcast will help us answer these questions. The Process of Spiritual Transformation
October 22, 2016 02:19 AM PDT"Process" is a bad word in many Christian circles today, but the concept is 100% Biblical and to not understand that spiritual growth and transformation is a process will lead to spiritual disaster/shipwreck. This podcast is a reminder that growth is normally a slow, tedious process that will last a lifetime. Extreme Devotion - What Millennials REALLY want!!
September 05, 2016 10:14 PM PDTExtreme sports athletes continue to provoke me and teach me things about the radical nature of following Jesus. In an age where being a Disciple is getting more and more challenging, and where the Church all-too-often is requiring less an less, maybe we need to reconsider the cost and renew our devotion to the Lordship of Christ. #1 Barrier in the Kingdom = Lack of Commitment
August 02, 2016 08:43 AM PDTUnbelief, ignorance, lack of love, and the fear of man are all barriers to the life of the Kingdom, but I believe the #1 barrier is lack of commitment. I don't believe so-called "Millennials" shy away from commitment - just look at Extreme Sports athletes today. I believe that the Church however has "misread" them and has sadly offered a "watered-down" version of the Gospel, that essentially is a perversion of the Biblical one. Spiritual Lessons Learned from the Natural
March 21, 2016 01:43 AM PDTmeditating on 1 Tim. 4:8 - "For physical training is of some value, but training in godliness is of value in every way both in this life and the life to come", I talk further about things the Lord has been teaching me through my Bible Reading Plan and the NORMAL way He has ordained for us to grow spiritual. Beware - it isn't the "instant" or "automatic" way we so often want. The Importance of a Bible Reading Plan
February 22, 2016 07:06 AM PSTThis topic is critical in these days. There are way too many who "cherry pick" verses to support doctrines and practices that are out of balance at best and false and even heretical at worst. I've done it personally and believe one of the ways God has ordained for us to stay away from such extremes is to always have a systematic Bible reading plan. I hadn't had one for years and God really challenged me to make a change. Here are my thoughts.
This is a Podcast for people who are hungry for more of God - hungry to encounter Him, and hungry to see the Gospel preached with clear demonstrations of Kingdom Power.
Talk is cheap (and frankly, people are sick and tired of being 'preached at')! God is raising up a generation, a Joel 2 Generation, who will not settle for anything less than everything the Lord will release at this time in history. Join us in this journey - a journey into God's Presence, a journey into the miraculous!
This isn't actually my picture - it's a picture of one of my heros - Lonnie Frisbee (who died in 1993). He was a Joel 2 Generation forerunner, who sparked the revival known as "The Jesus Movement" (of the late 60's/early 70's). I am inspired by the way a 17 year-old was used so powerfully by the Lord, in spite of his own tremendous personal struggles. The fact that God could use a broken vessel like Lonnie, gives me hope. He can/will use anybody who surrenders to Him.
